Google penalty audit, 5 ways to get penalty

Sooner or later, most webmasters faces with Google penalty. I like to make website audits, so it’s time to make another one. In this audit we examine the the site, which has received sanctions from Google.

This time i will audit for rebeccacolefax.com.

This is a good example how a bletcherous webmaster can lead a fair website with a unique content to penalty.

This website belongs to a talented photographer Rebecca Colefax. She is actually a cool photographer who owns various noble awards. I have used her photos that I like very much at the beginning and at the end of my article.

I also took a shine to this website because it has maxed out penalty points and has no chance to take up a good position in Google in spite of its usefulness and uniqueness.

If somebody asks me, what is information security or infosec, I would answer the following. The information security is when you don’t store confidential information at easily accessible places, either it’s your computer or the Internet.

There is a good saying: “The chain strength is determined by the strength on its weakest link”.

There is two simple security rules for the website:

  1. Don’t store a confidential information on the hosting.
  2. Analyze the pages, that Google index on your website.
